The Morton House around 1870, was a two story house, prior to being hit by a tornado in the early 1900s, making it a single story home.
The Brittains owned the house around 1890.

Now that the Morton-Brittain House has been moved to its new location, and placed on a permanent foundation, the restoration process will begin. For this next phase, we will be recruiting NHS and non-NHS folks to help with all aspects of the project. If you would like to be a part of this multi-year effort, please download and complete the forms below and return them as soon as possible to the Nolensville Historical Society. If you have friends or family that would also like to get involved, please share this information with them.
This will be a very important and fun project for the NHS. It will have multiple opportunities for everyone to become involved. Please read through the survey form to determine how your talents can best be used in helping us complete this project, and then mail the forms to the The Morton Brittain House, c/o Nolensville Historical Society, 7248 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135. We look forward to working with you!
Thank you,
